Engine break-in
I planning on breaking in my thunder tiger ssb's pro.15 engine in this weekend and have have some questions about the process. From what I 've read it seems that there are many different oppinions on how to break in an engine correctly. My thunder tiger manual says to start the engine with the fastest idle possible without engaging the clutch and run at full throttle for the 1st tank on a rich setting. Then it says to let the engine cool before running a second tank of fuel on alternate settings for half the tank. Then i have to lean the engine until the highest speed is obtained. Finally, it says to richen the needle setting and run a third tank and then a few more.
Does anyone have any other advice. I'm going to trust the manual i think but I want to see if anyone thinks that there's a better way. Thanks.
