ASP1.20AR
This may sound dumb but what dose the AR stand for on an asp engine. I am looking at getting a 1.20 and the guy that has them has one that said asp 1.20 in the add and one that said asp1.20AR and the AR cost about 20.00$ more.

RE: ASP1.20AR
The AR is the newer version. Some of these had the crankcase vent connected to the intake manifold. If you set the engines side by side, you will notice that the 'AR' has more bracing in the fillets of the crankcase and the 'ASP' name is in a square boss and side by side letters whereas the older model has the 'ASP' in a vertical arrangement.
From my experience, there is not enough difference in the way the two models run to get very concerned about. I have a 120 AR and a pre AR 65 amoung several other sizes of AR's. The older 65 is a strong runner for its size. It's much stronger than my Saito 65.
Enjoy,
Jim
