Default Help!!!! Dragonfly Board Fried...

Guessi juz fried my DF board. When i power it up, the Baord LED keeps blinking red, the tail motor would run @ full even when the trottle stick is all the way down. I measured the voltage across the tail positive n negative. its giving 8V!...

Im gettting a brushless controller soon. WOuld u guys think its better to get back the Dragonfly board. or would it be better to go for a seperate tail mixer board. WOuld anyone recommend a board with high amps so i wouldn't fry it e nx time round...

Man, I told you guys to use the fuse !!

Oh well - If you are going to spend big $$$ I would go for the zoom/shogun

Otherwise do a bit of hunting around and see if you can get another 4in1 board cheap. Dont forget to quote your frequency...

How many AMPS should the fuse be? I hoocked up my main to a 5 amp fuse. yes i should hv placed a fuse for the tail. Whcih type of fuse would be recommended. Whouls it hoocked up in a certain way, for e.g:

Mixer"+" ---- ?Amps FUSE---- Tail Motor "+" ----
Mixer"-" ----------------------- Tail Motor "-" ----

WOuld this be right? thanx??

Aaaah I was thinking more

Battery + (Positive)---5 Amp Quick Fuse-----| Mixer Board +

Battery - (Negative)------------------------| Mixer Board -
