Default still having body roll problems sank it 4 times PLEASE MORE HELP

Well tried a diffrent prop recomended from Bonzi sports no help. If i give it gas it wants to turn over on its side. it rolls to the left(exhaust)bad ealy bad it turns itself over if i let it. Should the front of the boat have weight in it? I am totally lost and have no IDEA what to do
here are some pictures of my setup if someone can help

Picture three and six should give you a clue where your problem lies. Probably...

I just helped a guy get his boat running pretty well last weekend, it was a big Bonzi with QD35. At a certain speed it would buck out of the water or spin out.

We angled the prop down and it totally helped. Also we set the trim tabs to counter the torque effect (left level, right down a bit).

Your strut or stinger looks to be angled up a bit. Try 3 or 4 degrees down, it was like night and day on the boat we were tuning

the strut is all the way up but the rudders move as well. I have moved the prope up down and as well as the trim tabs.. Moving the trim tabs made it a little better but it also handles like crap.. How is it a Proboat shockwave 55 ss is better out of the box than building your own out of better parts. I cant figure that out...
is it normal for rc boats to have roll to them... I Had this same motor in a 43" Aeromarine deep v hull with no problems at all boat went straight as an arrow

The boat should, as all boats should be, as light as is possible.

So no ballast in the front end.

is this you're week to watch my posts? no but his boat is mostly whh and nobody can seem to help this guy. this is his 2nd thread on the same problem. i just know that Tony,
the guy that invented gasoline model boating knows alot about this subject. and every time i ever had a problem that nobody could help me with Tony solved. now if his boat didn't have anything to do with whh why would i say call whh? seems like you can't give the guy good info so why even waste you're time posting on the thread about me and whh.

I would try to move the trim tabs out to the edge of the boat.

Stuch,

Fyi, Tony did not invent model gas boating. If you know Tony he will tell you that. I do believe he can help in this issue. I do know Tony well and he is an honest straight shooter when it comes to his passion ( model boating). I truly believe that Whobbies has the best customer service in the industry. ( just my opinion )

keep the hobby alive![sm=49_49.gif]

If the boat keeps rolling left add some weight to the right to balance it

first thing i notice is your prop is angled a bit too high.......and you've got waaay too much trim tabs IN the water.....[:-],especially the starboard (rightside),all this along with a bad CenterOfGravity, will produce results as you've mentioned....if it was due to too much prop....it would roll to the right, right???,right. Lower your strut to at least 1-2*neg (down) angle, raise your tabs so they are at least 4*pos.,and this will give you a baseline to start with,Keeping in mind that if any part of a trim tab is mounted flush,or below the hull, this will induce drag making fine tuning a biotch to do....if the problem is worse, lower the tab on the side it rolls to (left???),if you have to go more than 4* down, then look to shifting/adding weight to the right side....not always a bad thing, but what else you gonna do???/....try it out first by accelerating slowly and see if that helps....good luck...

No, Tony didn't invent model gas boating. They're been around since before he was filling diapers. Ever hear of O&R engines? They're just one example of vintage gas engines.

Back to the thread at hand. The prop appears to be rather dull. Has it been sharpened and balanced? Is the hull flat with no hooks in it that can be affecting the handling?
One more drastic thing could be that you'd need to move the strut to the right to help compensate for torque.

Yes the prop is sharp and balanced thats a old one i installed a new one just not pictured here
the hull is perfectly smooth underneath
I spoke to tony at WHH gave me some good ideas. I think is just comes down to poor hull design

Its a Plum Krazy RC boat hull

My pals boat, the Spiderman, looks similar rudder gear etc.
His pulls badly to the right.
Reckons he'll sort it with trimming and prop angles.
Perhaps its a two rudder thing? i've no idea myself though...
