Default Victory cat build >>>> Video

Hi all, I'm up to my ears in international orders at the moment but thought I'd share this one. Victory Team Dubai 64" Odyssey catamaran fitted with left and right rotation G260's and clutches. Seamless hull done in blue gelcoat with a carbon fiber inlay. I hope to give it its first test run on Sunday the 5th July.

Cheers, Danny.

Paint !.... No paint at all. To quote myself "hull done in blue gelcoat" The white hatch and black windscreen were also done in gelcoat inside the mold, the rest is all vinyl.

Cheers, Danny.

Its always a pleasure to look at your builds as they are absolutely works of art. So neat and tidy!

Looks Killer Danny. Sorry to be MIA for a while. It's been a whirl wind here at work. My big cat gets back on the water this weekend with all of the little bugs gone. I will shoot you an email when it's done.. Hope to take some video also.

Keep up the awesome work!

Tom

Thanks guys, I try to do my best. Some RTR photos although I'm still working on the new air scoops. Boat will get its first test run this Sunday.

The first photo is more indicative of its color, my cheap camera and bright sunlight makes the rest look a little green.

Cheers, Danny.

After being sick all week, I went to the lake for the test run and the weather was bad. Very cold and very windy but the boat handled the conditions very well, much better than I did.

I also have the air scoops finished and will get them mounted this week.

Looks great, Danny.

fun build...the exhaust headers/flange look TIGHT on the outboard side of the sponsons...is it much of an issue? I am preparing for a CT03 build and will be using twin, counter-rotating RCMK's...

I do have a question on your mounts...please pop me a PM or e-mail when it is convenient.

Hope you get to feeling better...

Personally would have left the air scoops off. Sleek lines looks more menacing than having authentic air scoops.

But looks great nonetheless.

Exhausts are a tight fit but there's even less room to put the carbs to the outside. Note the 25 degree inlet manifolds to get the carbs off the tunnel. With the few subtle changes I've made, this build is the easiest I've done for get the engines in and out of.

The boat is getting shipped to Dubai and he wanted the air scoops to look the part.

Mid to high 40's at a guess, It's not about the speed with these sorts of boats although there would be more in it with a few more props and some adjustments made. With the windy conditions, last Sunday was the coldest morning that I have ever ran boats.

Cheers, Danny.
