I thought the same thing with my 47 Yak.The cut outs look to big but it is OK.The servos are recessed in the wing. They fit down in the wing.Just cut the covering and iron it down into the recessed area.I was mad when I saw that also. But not a problem.

I`m pretty sure they were on mine.Just hold it up to a light and look.Sometimes you can feel them.

Thanks Jay. The aileron servos are recessed in the wing so the opening is a little bigger than you would expect. Makes for a nicer installation overall. The gear holes are in the laser cut ply doublers and you can feel around for the holes under teh covering. Match drill your gear per the instructions.

Wow, Mike... just retired and you're already trolling the forums!!! Congrats again!

If you have trouble finding the gear holes (I did), hold the fuse in the light so you see the sheen of the surface and then hit the area a little with the heat gun. The covering will pucker just a bit over the holes.

It's a great plane. I just put a few tanks through mine this morning and it will hang in your face as much as your thumbs will allow. Just don't drop your field battery through the wing like I did when I got home. No worries, it's already fixed and will get recovered tomorrow and flown in the afternoon. Enjoy it!
