Klotz Oil for G-62 fuel?
A friend told me to use Belray MC-1 oil at 50:1 in high octane gas for my G-62. I couldn't find the Belray oil but a motor cycle store owner told me to try Klotz R50 Racing Synthetic Oil at 50:1 ratio. Any thoughts about this oil and ratio? I had been using Lawn Boy at 32:1 with regular unleaded gas but can't get the engine to turn up past 6700 rpm with a 22 x 10 prop. Thanks for any comments.

A G62 clone MT62 turned a 22x10 6300 out of the box with a slimline Pitts muffler, so your 6700 rpm sounds right. I'd try a 22x8 or a 23Aor8, mine likes the 23A only tached 6200 rpm, but flew my 17 pound Extra great.

RE: Klotz Oil for G-62 fuel?
For the past several years I have used this oil in all my gassers, including 3 of the G62 engines; and have nothing but GOOD to say about it. I use it @ 32:1; and will continue to use it as long as the motorcycle shop carries it.
