Default Could somebody look at my DL-50, and let me know if it's the newest version?

Hi,

I just recently came into the possession of a brand new DL-50 engine. that is supposedly the most recent version available. Everything seems OK on mine accept for one thing that looks different than most of the photos I've seen online. Mine has the gas line connected to the lower portion of the spacer block. Whereas most of the photos I've seen have the gas line connected to the top portion of the spacer block.

Could somebody please look at my photo, and let me know if mine is indeed the newest version? If not, was there a reason for moving this gas connection?

Thank You,

Mark

That's the new one. You can tell by the thickness of the ears. I don't know why they moved the line.

The line supplies the pulse to the carb. The precense of pulse can be verified by flip the prop. If gas can be drawn toward to the carb, the pulse is there.

All I know is that it's on the top of the block on my DA-50...
