Yep will be retiring the Falcon 120 to build the Liberty. Let me know if you know of anyone that wants one. A grade build with $750 worth of retracts, Digitech trailing link struts wheels and brakes T 6 Alluminium Trunions.
Had a perfect day flying today light winds and 23 degrees. Only a few misshaps . 29 flights now on the FEJ F16. Merlin 90 kicks butt, very happy! pics to follow. Molo can you make it to Temora this year?

Looking forwards to the pic's for those of us who can't get there....
Busting to get into the turbine world, so it would be great to see what's being flown around in Oz!
Thanks
Dave

Just got home from the Temora Jet meet and all I can say is what a GREAT WEEKEND OF FLYING!! Weather was perfect, heaps of pilots this year, lots of flying got done by everyone. Managed to burn off close to 40Lt's of fuel on the JL L39. Big thanks to all the guys who organised the event this year, once again it was outstanding!!

Hi Guys
This is my second year attending this fantastic jet meet at Temora, and for those who haven't been there yet, do yourself a favour, and get there!
As requested, here are a few pictures I took during the 2009 Temora Jet meet.
To upload I had to lower the resolution of all the pic's, but they still look good.
See you all at next years Temora 2010.
I hope you enjoy them boys [8D].
Regards
Tasman!
P.S I will post some more soon.

Many thanks to the organisers Jason, Mike, Max, Fabio, transmitter pound crew, catering crew, Temora town locals and council, and Temora Museum/Airport and anyone I missed.

...and a few more pics of the fantabulous weekend at Temora over at http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...26585&page=268 and http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...26585&page=269
And likewise Mavrik! - kudos to the town of Temora, and the unbelievable work the Aviation Museum and all its staff there have done to not only restore many magnificent Birds of our past, but to also keep them in flying condition.
Now, if only they could get a Mirage in there....

I would just like to publicly add my thanks for the Temora organisers., Jason, Mike, Max, Fabio, John and Anthony plus the wives such as Chris (fantastic lunches thank you Chris !) and everyone else involved . This was a perfect meeting, perfect facility, Temora airfield, with its museum, clean, covered ramp area, on site catering, accomodation, model storage facilities (shared with a Spitfire and Sabre, both airworthy !) Even on-site support from Intairco ! Great bunch of guys with very very few incidents all crowned with glorious weather. Jet meetings simply don't get any better !
THANK YOU all.
Regards, David Gladwin.

Good spotting Dave, at the time this photo was taken there was quite a cross wind blowing and as he landed his FA18 the wind caught the port side wing and it went off the runway cart-wheeling in the grass a few times. After it was all said and done, there was damage to the wings and undercarriage. I'm not sure who the pilot is though.
In my option, it was by far the best looking of the FA-18 Superhornets at Temora.

RE: 2009 Temora Jet Meet Australia 18/19/20 September
Ummm.... the 'SuperHornet' (shornet) was actually our old and trusted F/A 18c Hornet, not a SuperHornet. Shornets are comparatively larger, and have 'F15'-style air intakes (boxe-shaped). Something to do with a lower radar signature so I've read...
A top scale model, and a pity it cranked a wing (and stabilators) - an aircraft I waited all day to see in the air, and unfortunately missed. I think the damage was too much to repair on the weekend - I saw the stabilators being carted past on Sunday, still a bit 'bent'. She was done up on 77 Sqdn duco and a really nice representation of the aircraft so many of us have seen buzzing F1 and MotoGP Grands Prix events. Lovely plane, and commiserations to the Pilot. A bit of work to be done there I'm guessing, but at least she wasn't totalled.
