Default i got the wrong item due to time of year

Ok, a rant is coming...........
1st off, i dont celebrate xmas my self. Thus, all the issues it casues bug my worse than it would most.

walmart it a terrible place to be. And everywhere you go you are forced to here xmax music.

And the worst part? rc companies get bogged down with orders! This naturally causes mistakes and delays, as the warehouse guys start rushing and some companies hire part time guys that dont always know what they are doing.

I had just recieve a package that should have contained a 2.4ghz radio i need bad. Instead, i recieved a nitro center trans assembly

It wouldnt be soo bad, but i dont even have any use for the nitro assembly, as i dont own the model it goes to.

Oh, 1 more grip, shipping times get longer this time of the year. priority usps mail should take 3 days, now takes 5.

I dont really blame the RC company. When their shipping doubles in a single month i understand that they will have a hard time keeping up.

I dropship RC items from my ebay store, and this time of year i have to keep extra good record to make sure all my orders get placed and shipped to the right places. any other time of the year i can keep all that info in my head.

OK, rant over

I hate the commercialized aspect of the holiday too. But, look at it this way: Free stuff.

Let others do the shopping for you. Just seed your desires and sit back. Get free stuff. Eat food. Watch Die Hard.

Oh god. I can not put into words how much I hate that song. Play something good, will ya?

Examples:

IMO, my biggest gripe about this time, above all other things, IS THE AWFUL BLOODY CHRISTMAS MUSIC! RKBJDIKNJDYIJYFIKHJYIHJIY STOP. WITH. THE. CRAPPY. CAROLS! /ragerant

I know it's rude of me to do this, but honestly I don't care. Whenever I hear a christmas carol I pull my phone out, start Master of Puppets, and blare it as loudly as I can.

I would also link Dennis Leary's christmas tune but that'd get me modwrath'd. Ya'll can go find it yourself, it's all over youtube.

Honestly, you should look at your attitude towards these simple things and realize they are nothing at all compared to being in good health, being with family, if you have a job, food on the table, etc... Lots of things to be thankful for[8D] Its something we all do, but sometimes we need a reminder that these things arent important.

And remember its CHRISTmas.

ThunderbirdJunkie likes Christmas. But yes, the Christmas music is awful. ThunderbirdJunkie hates that aspect.

There are some wonderful Christmas songs, both secular and sacred, but your local store/radio station only owns 4 CDs and of those, only 3 tracks are listenable. Dare I say run down to your local library, check out a bunch of cds and give them a try. There will be arrangements out there that you'll enjoy listening to. (hint: if it was recorded in the last 20 years, you probably won't like it.)

First of all, this is in the general discussions NOT THE RIGHT PLACE.

also you thinking that jesus's birthday sucks is your OPINION, how bout "i hate Xmas" or "i dont like Xmas" but Xmas sucks??? rude.

i dont like the commercialism in Christmas either, but i love Christmas for what its truly about, my savior's birth, and to love and embrace family, dont get me wrong i like presents alot, but that is not why i love Christmas.

rude.

Hi, i didnt meant to be rude....
You see, i dont believe that jesus was born in december...
I believe in him, try to follow his example and know that without him we would have no hope.
I dont mean to put down Jesus by saying xmas sucks. I do not relate jesus to xmas due to my beliefs. they are my own beliefs, and i dont mean to impose my beliefs on others.

I made a poor choice of words when posting this thread. MY BAD. i will change the title

If a mod wants to get rid of the thread, i would not be offended.

here is the thing, for many reasons it was belived and chosen to celibrate Christmas in december, however even if his birth wasnt december, it is still celibrated on december 25th and even if not entirly true, should still be treated as it is.

it not the little details, its the big picture.

thank you for changing the title.

Shark- I dont think he meant any harm to anyone by saying things like he did. We all have things come out badly sometimes, especially if we are frustrated. Its just human nature unfortunately. He already said he thought he should have used a better choice of words, and its not often you'll find someone that takes well to someone else telling them they're rude. If he had meant to be hateful or wanted to be hard to get along with, he would have snapped back at you instead of responding sensibly and considering your opinions/views.

Bummer... Sorry your gear order got messed up [&o] I have the same feelings of dread when I order things this time of year because you never know if your package will be handled by a temp (hired for the busy season) and therefore get messed up!

Guess we just have to roll with it the best we can.

If you are tired of the same old same old, here's a link to a new twist on Christmas music... http://youtu.be/F9XNfWNooz4

I don't have an iPhone or an iPad but this is pretty cool. If you truly don't want to hear anymore Christmas music, DON'T click the link!

Merry CHRISTmas!

well, i have less to be grumpy about now....the company has sent the radio out ups 3day shipping. i had expected them to use ups ground(which takes about 7-8 days for me)
Its nice when a company tries to make up for a mistake. shows they care about the customer.

Try Trans-Siberian Orchestra's music. I just saw them in concert for the first time this year. Best concert I've ever been to, bar none.
