* Heat 1: I took 3rd place
* Heat 2: I took 2nd place

Qualified 2nd for the A Main.

Redharris was Disapointed last night .
Heat 1: I took 2nd, behind a guy one Class above Me.
Heat 2: I took 2nd, behind a guy one Class above Me.....(same guy as in the first race.)
So I'm sittin' Pretty for the Main,,,,,Right?
All that Preperation and all day practicing at the track all boils down to the A Main. I am Excited!

I start at the 5 position and I know there will be the Usual rookie Pile up at the first corner.
So,,,I slow down and carefully drive around the pile up and find myself in 2nd place!
Then Some TOOL careens into me from Out of Bounds, Knocks me upside down, and drives over me and away.
The turn Marshal (8 year old little girl) runs down the hill to marshal me.
She is just about to turn me over when she hears a BIG pile up BEHIND her. (all those idiots are still fighting to get through the first 3 turns)
She turns AWAY from Me and runs up the hill to marshal 4 cars, then continues up the hill to her marshalling spot.
I am still Upside down.
She FINALLY remembers me and runs back down to Marshal my car,but it was too late.
I was now in Last place, (behind all the best drivers) and was about to be lapped by the leaders.
I DID manage to pick up 2 places and finish 5th,,,,,,But I was really Frustrated by that.

LOL.. yea at the end of the race.. I lapped rich. but in the turn we hit and he flipped. u should of heard rich on the driver stand. he was standing right next to me........ Sorry again Rich.. oo also i added the new link to the 1st post.

Lol....Yeah that was Me......
He clipped me the lap Before too, and spun me into the Barrier.....
I have Smashed Him a time or two also though! But Last night was Adams night.
The 2 guys who finished ahead of him were running Brushless......
The Rookie Class Kinda Sucks in that, "You Run what you Brung".
So you end up competing against some Hot Setups.
Next Season I move to Spec Class and Maybe even Intermediate.
All the cars will be the Same then!....But I wont get to race Adam.[] He will be a different class.

sometimes being marshalled sucks...when I marshal I bust my butt to get the guys rigs upright ASAP in hopes they will see how hard I work at it and return the favor..doesnt always happen.....

I wish there was a rookie class at my track...I'm running against some rigs that have $1,500 or more in em..and some the drivers have been running 10 plus yrs....I can hang close to the other guys with limited experience, but not up front...I refuse to give up though...I will retool and go after em in the spring

There is no off road track here in the city, there was one on gun hill road in the Bronx but nobody really take car of it, if you go on youtube and type gun hill track you can see some video's of it, its a beautiful place but very bad neighborhood.

yeah I feel fortunate I can race....granted I drive alotta miles...but atleast I am able to run..some folks dont have that...sure glad I do

Yeah....The Nitro Buggy and Truggy Classes are Pretty Serious out here to, with a bunch of Long Time Vets.
Depending on how many guys Show up,,,,a Rookie COULD get thrown into the mix with the Experts!
All you can do is to drive YOUR race and try to improve every week....
After a season or two,,,,you will be Right there with the Experts.

As for Marshalling? Its Hit or Miss at my track........
Some folks are good, some are not.....NO cellphones allowed, Dammit![:@]
I marshaled after MY three races and volunteered for the Buggy and Truggy race.
I'm Tellin' Ya,,,,,,you take your Life in your Hands when you marshall the Big Nitros.
I literally had to Dive off the track into the Bushes to save myself from getting my Clock Cleaned,TWICE, while marshalling the Buggies!

My Track Driving is improving FAST,,,,,Just ask Adam.
I had a bad A-main last night, its True,,,,but it WAS the A-MAIN,,,,not the B-Main.

By the Time Eddie gets Here,,,,I'll be in Expert Class....And that Lil Blonde Girl better Stay Outta my Way!...Lol

lol.. yes Rich has improved ALOT!!! heat 1 was good.... Heat 2 he was on POINT on every turn and was kicking *****... he TQed for the A-Main... and well everyone has a bad race sometimes... im sure mine is coming up soon....
