RE: Anyone have more info on the Jet Boat?
Swashdrive from Australia. Probably the best jet for gas use.
Similar hulls available in the US from [link=http://206.206.85.209/xtdoc/Details.aspx?ProductCode=m-1706&store=mhzusa]MHZ[/link] as well as a [link=http://206.206.85.209/xtdoc/Details.aspx?ProductCode=m-1723/R&store=mhzusa]a jet[/link], MHZ USA are not known for being cheap......
Jets otherwise can be had from [link=http://www.jet-drive.de/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&c ategory_id=2&Itemid=17]KMB[/link], Graupner or Prestwich in the UK has one on their site.

The swashdrive Jet is the best in the business in my opinion. If your after an awesome performer and quality build I would recommend hunting one down. I believe Craig (owner of Swashdrive in Australia) is currently not building more boats for the moment. But definately worth hunting for one.
If you do a search on youtube you will find a bunch of clips - http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...rch_type=&aq=f (you could always inquire of each video poster if they have one for sale of know of one). I have one though no plans on letting her go sorry - http://imageevent.com/justaddwata/myboats/jets

Gday
Yeah thats one of mine alright, and looking like she is in kepted good nick ! Matt is right, i'm not making jets at the moment, just no time lately. As like most R/C boats the sprint boats are a labour of love and involve a heck of time to make the parts.
You sometimes see the odd one on Ebay, But most of the guys that own em won't part with them.
If you are looking at the MH$ gear be weary of the river racer hull, an old friend Pete Hawkins built this same type hull and i found from trials that it hooked pretty bad in corners and just couldn't stop porpousing ! and their jet is only good for blowing bubbles !
Just a lil' sour as they knocked off my trim nozzle.
Regards
Craig

RE: Anyone have more info on this Jet Boat? Pics/Vid
Hi
I am currently working on a 1/5 scale river race boat using a 0.91 Nitro and a 40mm KMB jet. I was thinking about doing a Jet Sprint earlier this year, but couldn't find me a hull. Graupner makes a 50mm jet that costs around $300 US. It is not as good as Craigs but still decent.
Later this year I will probably starting to make my own jets. I will give a bell if anyone is interested. They are probably still about 3 months away[]. I will make a 1/4 scale, a 1/8 scale and a 1/16 scale for a new jet sprint class that we are trying to get going over on the electric forum.
A guy in NZ was building a hull but then he moved. The 1/4 scale gear is very illusive.
Please make some more Craig. Don't make me beg.

Oh nice mate. I wondered where you shot off to.
I probably am not in the market for one anymore, but there will be plenty of others.
Good luck with it.

Gday
I may be making some more later on this year of Ind use for a customer and so will make a few extra if the deal goes ahead.
Seeing i'm a nice fella i will start a thread here if & when they are ready so you keen jetboaters can get in first.
Regards
