Default Tenergy Battery packs from all-battery.com

I recently purchased a set of Tenergy battery packs (3800 mAh Ni-MH) from all-battery.com. The packs have great run time and top speed, however, they lack some off-the-line punch in a super high drain vehicle like the E-maxx.

It really depends on what you use these packs for. Are you running a brushless setup, I would not buy these. If you're running a brushed motor like the titan or its 540 sized equivalent or smaller then these work great. I have six of them and never had any issues but I they do not put out the power to handle a battery eating monster like the e-maxx. The main problem with these packs is not the cells but the construction. Rebuilding them side by side makes a huge difference. So if you are running brushed motors in a single motor 1/10 or near sized truck these are awesome packs for the price but are not good performers when it comes to brushless or high drain situations.

The good part is they run exceptionally well in my Slash and Stampede and I believe the power issue is more of a problem due to the massive amount of power the E-maxx takes. They also seem to do very well in moist conditions. I've ran them in snow at least ten times with absolutely no sign of corrosion or issues, so they can take a beating and hold up with like-priced packs. These are the packs I bought: [link]http://www.all-battery.com/apairof84v3800mahnmhbatterypacksforrctruckemaxx.as px[/link]

They do heat up under heavy load, as most batteries do, but not to the point of damage as long as you know how to care for your packs.
They have always charged and held over 8.4 v each pack and peak at just over 10v on the charger.
In all they are worth the money, but I wouldn't take them to the race track.

i use these packs in my stock E-Revo, they have plenty of punch for the titan 550's. the only gripe i have is they dont have 3800mah, its more like 3500mah.

Don't get me started on Tenergy batteries from All-battery.com.

They have a high Ebay feedback score but I found out why.
People rate them long before they give the batteries a few cycles.

I bought a bunch of the AA 2300mah NiMh cells. THEY SUCK!!!!. Never been more disappointed with a bunch of cells, ever.
Total junk. I bought 32 of these and they are all terrible. Never again. I felt totally suckered.
They show to take a full charge but their discharge is very fast.

VERY SHORT LIFE.

Stay Away.
