Default vennom speed meter

does any one have the vsm installed on 18ss and if so where and or how did you mount the sensor and pick up with stock radio tray

Hey HVA
I have it and had the same difficulty...because of the two speed, you cant put it on the gear, or else it'll only register when its in that speed. i ended up putting it on one of the dogbone shafts on the rear tires...i had tried to put it in the middle shaft but it wasnt picking up...i myself am not sure about where i put it and if i like it..however it is picking up speeds...i only installed it a few weeks ago and still testing to see if its accurate. i'll post a pic when i get my camera back.

VSM isnt compatible for every car. If you go to the website, well the old one anyway it will tell you the fitting instructions for specific cars. Its best you email venom about it, and theyll get back to you within 1-2business days

hey thanks for the replys i found a good spot under the back drive dogboneat the rear diff drill 2 holes in chassis next to motor mount and mounted using vsm supplied hardware
works good so far and lightly drilled 3/8 hole from bottom to flush mount beveled screws can have pics if any one needs

i dont trust fail safes!.. but im waiting 4 mine in the mail, lmao... but i dont trust them... ive seen 2 many rc's still **** up with it...
