Has anyone tried the SmarTech car sold by Excel
Hobbies? It's a 1/10 nitro on-roader being sold
RTR for $180. My son saw their ad, and wants one
badly for his birthday. He's already got an Ofna
OB-4, which he (we) really enjoy.

SmarTech by Excel Hobbies
Smartech imports inexpensive r/c vehicles from China. By all the acounts I've read, they are not of the same quality (construction or materials) as the ones they copied. They actually have an immitation T-Maxx called the Magic Wheel. If you check out the monster truck forum here, you can get a feel for the cheap materials used.
