Default capacitors

im about to install a new motor in my car. i cant upgrade the speed controller and people are telling me that he voltage that the motor draws will fry my circuits. will installing capacitors avoid this problem? if so how?

also, with this motor i got two blue things that have two prongs. are these the capacitors that install to the motor to help with radio interference?

Default RE: capacitors

If those blue things are only about the size of a BB, then yeah, they're the caps. They won't keep your ESC from frying though if the motor's current draw exceeds the capability of the ESC.
