Default help!!! glow plug probs

i need help my tmaxx just died out in the middle of my yard and it was smoking and i have only ran 5 tanks through it or so an the glow plug has black stuff all over it and i wont start. i need help what do you think happened also my engine was EXTREMELY hot i think i was running two leen it was soo hot it burnt a whole in the fuel line insulator.

ohhh...say goodbye to that engine....take the cooling head off and see what the top of the piston looks like.

yup, it sounds like you might have cooked that engine. set the carb back to factory settings and see if you can get it to run with a new glow plug. if you can get it to run and when it warms up and then it stops running until it cools down, then it's cooked and you'll either need to rebuild or get a new one. and since we're on the subject of temps, do you have a temp gauge? it will greatly lower the chance that you'll do this again

Does the motor turn over with the E-Z start?,,if so,do you still have compression?

ya it still turns over and i have compression and it tries to start then it just goes back to turning over and over. i took off the cooling ead and had one of my machanic friends make sure it lokked ok and he said it looks fine so idk

Put a new glow plug in. Reset the carb needles to factory then tune the engine properly. If it still wants to overheat then start looking for an air leak.

you might try turning up the throttle trim,or have a friend hold the the throttle open about 1/4 or so,,,you did replace the glow plug and opened up HSN rite ??
