Default One way bearing

How can you tell if your OWB is gone and needs to be replaced. Cant seem to get my truck to start up without fighting with it. Sounds like it wants to start but something just not catching.

I agree with Donny. My Dad and I have burned out three bearings[:'(] Take it apart and tell me what's up. We'll help in anyway we can.

Be carefull when you take it apart. The bearings fell out of mine. Now I have to get a new one.

If the bearings fall out then the bearing's bad. A good bearing will not lose pieces like that. Clean the bearing and use some fine emory paper lengthwise on the starter shaft to break the glaze and give the bearings something to grip to.
Also, what fuel are you using? When I switched from Traxxas TopFuel to O'Donnell's a whole lot of my owb issues went away.

I just went out and bought a new OWB. I got the truck used so it probably needs to be replaced anyway. Havent had the time to install it yet. Just way to busy. One day I'll get to it. hehe
