can't find the dynam vortex flybar (vtx02)
I decided to buy all the parts since I watercrashed my cx2 in the pool 3 days ago (see other post). So far I need the 4 in 1, two motors (buying the dynam vortex ones), but also would like to buy the longer inner and outer dynam vortex shafts, and the flybar, but it has been impossible to find a merchant that has it in stock. Does anyone know where to get it.

RE: can't find the dynam vortex flybar (vtx02)
I always found them in stock at http://www.bphobbies.com . Much to my surprise, the flybar seems to be out of stock, but they have the longer inner and outer shafts. You'll need to take a dremel and cut the stock plastic head off the Vortex inner shaft. Then, you can replace it with the E-Flite or MicroHeli CNC aluminum upper rotor head. The Dynam Vortex shafts are indeed longer versions compared to the E-Flite CX versions. They don't say it, but they are.
Also, save the flybar link from your CX. You'll need to unscrew the lower part of the old ball link and install it on the lower part of your new Vortex flybar link. That's because the balls on the dynam are a different size than the balls on the E-Flite upper blades. At that point, the flybar will be a drop-in replacement for use in either the E-flite or MicroHeli head. Neall
PS: It's my personal opinion (and that's my disclaimer, a "personal" opinion) that the Dynam Vortex motors stink. You're better off replacing with the stock ones. If you really want a nice motor upgrade, buy the Xtreme 180 ball bearing motors (made for the Esky Lama) from http://www.miracle-mart.com. They're more expensive, but well worth it. They're a direct drop-in replacement for the stock motors in the CX or CX2. They ship directly from Taiwan, but they're a very responsible company and ship the next day. I've bought a bunch of stuff from them and they're great. N.
