Default thottle rubber cover

Hi all, when I go full throttle, the throttle rubber cover stretches then when let go of the trigger the car is still throttling for two seconds because the rubber cover is not folding back in right.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks all.

The car is brand new, there no tears and it looks perfect. But the throttle arm dont close straight away when i let go of the trigger, it sorta sticks but I put a little drop of oil just incase it sticks. But it still the same.

I really need help on this

Make sure the rubber dirt shield is where it should be - there are usually grooves to locate it. If it's jumped out of where it should be it could get jammed and stop the carb closing properly.

Do you have a throttle return spring installed?

Is it your servo or the actual mechanism?

You servo has to be dogmeat. Any decent servo should shut that sucker clean, spring or no spring.

Do you think it could be anything to do with the low speed needle rear??

From the first video, it looks like air is slowly escaping out of the accordion looking cover, also it looks like plastic not rubber, try to put a small hole on it, so the air doesnt get trapped inside.

Also notice the same thing from going full throttle, air is also slowly getting sucked in the cover, that's why you have a delay on your throttle response.
