Right car for me?
i went to long island raceway and hobby, in newyork, and the guy recomended me a B4.
now im only 15 but i am willing to spend about $400 on EVERYTHING that i need.
is it race ready out of the box, or should i play with it and upgrade it before i rce with it.
is it even a good car for 2 more questions, should i get the stadium truck, or the buggy, and what batteries should i get?

The B4 is a great off-road buggy. If you get the RTR version, no it is not race ready. You will need an aluminum front hinge pin brace at the least. There are other things you may want, so look into a Factory Team version of the B4. It has all the goodies. A stadium truck (T4) may be better suited. ST's are easier to drive and they are better for your bash sessions in between races. Batteries are important. You should plan on spending at least $150.00 on some good batteries and a quality charger. MaxAmps has some good deals. IB4200's are great cells that are coming down in price.

Kit is much better, you'll be much better at tuning your car and maintaining it. RTRs often get trashed by newbies because they don't know how to maintain it.
A kit might cost a bit more all up, but you can get some nicer stuff for a kit.

get the ft kit for sure.. not only will you get to build it yourself, but it'll come with a lot of much-needed upgrades. with a good stock motor, decent radio and good battieries, you should be running right around $400-450.
