Default new to this. need suggestions.

Hello.New to this forum and new to rc stuff!(well...cars anyways) Im actually looking for suggestions on what to buy as a first rc car. I want either brushless or nitro. not into that brushed motor stuff. I would prefer a kit. a kit that includes everything I need get it up and going. Ive never built from a kit but it seems like it would be interesting and fun. would like to try it. And since its my first, and im not rich. I would like the keep it cheap(maybe $100??) Ive looked on web sites like nitrorcx. thats about as cheap as I can find. Any suggestions? Thanks to anyone. not even sure if this is in the right spot. haha

you will have a tough time finding a decent kit for $100. You don't have to be rich, but you will need to go higher than $100. There are a few entry level rides (brushed) under $200, with some batteries and charger you might be able to stay under 2. you can check out this one but it is a brushed setup: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...io-Blue-Silver If you do find something brushless under $100 I wouldnt expect longevity from it. Probably have a tough time finding replacement parts too.

Even the sub $100 cars at hobbyking are brushed with a wall wart charger and small nimh battery

I mean You need to increase that budget with 100$ you can get a timaya grasshopper but you still have to buy the electronics separately. I think that a good beginner rtr Electric would be something like a 2wd buggy or short course as for nitro you can try out .15 engine on road car or an offroad buggy like the tornado s30 good luck man and welcome to the rc world>
