RE: EB Mod or not?
I was thinking the same thing but ultimately I couldn't justify the price increase especially with the 2 year O.S warranty not valid on EB modded engines.

Get an AB mod, there cheaper and unlike EB they actually do work.

RE: EB Mod or not?
What do you gain a little extra speed....but you lose the warranty, a lotta dough, and do you really need it if you aren't a pro racer....if I was you I'd save the money and get something else (pipe, cvd's idk)

RE: EB Mod or not?
cvd's are stronger (steel), have less friction, supposed to be more effiecient...I want to get the new traxxas ones coming out soon... btw they would be heavier but the weight is conntrated in a smaller area making it easier to turn...
MIP CVDs(constant velocity drives) Stock replacement universal drive axles for most RC cars, buggies, and trucks. Precision machined of alloy steel, hardened for strength, and finished with a black oxide rust preventive coating. CVDs have near zero backlash, the most positive acceleration available, and no binding. MIP CVDs are completely rebuildable with all parts sold separately, and installation requires no modifications.

That's just what I know, I'm no where near a expert though...

I'm sure slayden will be running the new traxxas ones as soon as they come out....but you never know... if you have a strong enough motor the stock driveshafts will twist....then you should get cvd's
