Cutting trim [Monokote] stripes
Aside from the SmartStripe from Top Flite, for $20, or so, do I have any viable way to cut long, clean, accurate stripes from Monokote?
Is the SmartStripe a good tool to have? Does it work?
Thanks.

It works quite well. The only trouble is the setup time to "load" the machine with Monokote (or ultracote). Be sure to remove the backing material from the covering before you wind it on the spool, it will make cutting stripes much easier.
If you buy one, be sure to buy extra wooden "spools" to hold different colors. There is a lot of waste the first time you set up a roller, you don't want to do it more than once for the same trim color if you don't have to.
