Corona 120 Batteries
I have a LMH Corona 120 running a Hacker C40 12T Motor and a Hacker 48-3P OPTP Controller. I am using a Sanyo 8C NiMH 9.6V HR2600 Battery right now and looking for longer flight times. I am getting about 10-12 Min. right now.
Any ideas on a Li-po setup and where to buy? I am also heard of people using CamCorder batteries. Not sure what size to try...
Where is a good place to buy parts for the Corona 120? and not Helihobby.com
Thanks...

RE: Corona 120 Batteries
I would not go for camcorder batteries, unless you find one you are 100% sure can take a high load, most cant and will in the worst case explode or melt,, and possibly take on fire.
What you need is 1500 cells kokam,, atleast 6 of em 3 in paralell to bring it up to 11 volts,, and atlast 2 cells in serial to give good flight time and add enough weight,, make it to light and the corona will be a little flimsy in the handling.

RE: Corona 120 Batteries
I'm just starting with a corona 120 with the standard fusion motor. What batteries and charger would you recommend and where would be the best place to find them?
Thanks
Greg
