humming bird problem
i just got a hummingbird a few days ago in a trade. my problem is, the heli wont lift off the ground at all, even will it fully powered up. it will just push itself around on the floor. has anyone else experienced this? if it may be a setup issue, could you post pics of your setups. i tried to make sense of the directions online and im confused. any help would be great. thanks all.

thw brushes that go in the motor could be worn out which would mean you would need a new motor. i would recomend getting an acro 280bb motor since its brushes are replaceable

If you buy the 280bb will it last longer than the stock motors because i heard like the tail motor on the aerohawk gets only about 10-15 batteries before it dies and you have to buy a new motor.

RE: humming bird problem
hummingbird (dragonfly) has been flying well for a couple of weeks and after a bump the rear rotor is full on. It seems to be the speed controller. I disconnected the speed controler from the receiver and it still is full on. Of course when I disconect the speed controler from the rear rotor it stops. Can this be fixed or is the feda mixer speed controler fried?
Thanks for your help.

RE: humming bird problem
I had exactly the same problem as you after trying to adjust the main blades pitch. Never could get the blades back to a shape that would give enoug lift to get the heli off the ground. Changed motor, batteries, checked setup and paddles all to no avail Put on new blades when I could finally get them and bingo, off it went. Put old blades back on and nothing. So if you bought this thing second hand and the previous owner was trying to improve performance by screwing with the rotor blades then you likely need new ones.
Good Luck
