I am using Realflight 9.5 on my computer that is tied into my TV in my theater room. i would like to extend the controller so i can sit in my chair while flying. is there a requirement or recommended USB extender i am looking for a 12 ft extension?

The Interlink controllers sold with RF are power hogs, and in some situations need a powered USB hub to operate correctly. With a long cord, voltage drop may exacerbate the problem, so you might need a hub close to where you are sitting.
