3.3 question
im about to go buy a 3.3 thing is though that i have i 2.5 chassie could i just put the 3.3 right on in? a reply asap would be nice thanks

Yes you can put a 3.3 engine on the 2.5 chassis, and it uses the same motor mount. But im having trouble with it breaking the primary reverse gear in the trans. I think it is twisting the trans case and making that gear break. I plan on buying a aluminum trans case from RD logic and see if that helps the twisting problem. Ill let you know if it works. Cause you might have the same problem if you put the 3.3 on instead of the 2.5.

The tranny case is not causing the reverse primary to strip. Reverse is the weak link in the tranny. Installing the forward only conversion (FOC) eliminates reverse and makes the tranny much stronger.
I run .28's with the tranny and the FOC and have very little problems with a properly set slipper clutch.

oh ok so the aluminum case wont work. dang that sucks. I wanted to get the aluminum case and put all steel robison gears and the aluminum reverse primary but cant find the reverse gear.
