Default rc antenna

how can i get good range without upgrading my electronics without having an antenna sticking out of the top of my car because personally i think the antenna is the ugliest thing about rc cars today.

I don't think that the upper end radios will work well (range wise) if the antenna is hidden. I have not seen one but that doesn't say one does not exist. I would rather have the ugly antenna stick out than to risk losing(sp) the car due to lost signal.

If you do find one, let us know.

try drilling a small hole the size of the antenna out of the back or side of the car(better off at back) do it pretty high up but where you still like it. route the antenna so not all of it sticks out the back of the car. you wont see the antenna as much and you can upgrade to good electronics.

I took a piece of lexan and put holes up both side and laced it like a shoe lace and mount the lexan where it bends towards the back and is right under the shell itself.

YES! It is with my Lehner Brushless 5300 and Schulze ESC. It has crazy low end power.
