Who makes an Ultimate for a DA-50???
I have a DA-50 and I want an Ultimate. The DP is too small for it. Who makes an Ultimate that would be a good match for my engine??? I can't seem to find any. All or too small or way too big.

Thanks for the link, RCISMYLIFE. I am in the same situation. I was also looking at the Aeroworks. That BME Pitts looks very cool. I'll have to do some research on BME's airplanes. I've never seen, at least that I know, their planes.

I have only seen one. The prototype Ultimate with a prototype BME 110 Xtreme. Flown by todd blose. All of these planes look very promising. I am pretty interested in that 30% edge. Could use a different color scheme, but I cant argue, at least i dont have to cover it.

I can vouch on the Aeroworks Ultimate here. A freind of mine's will be displayed at the Toledo show. It's the yellow one. Quite impressive and well put together. It won't be maidened to after............but woth a DA-50 on the nose........it's gonna be wild.

Aeroworks planes have a very good reputation. I have no doubt their Ulty will be awesome. We'll have to wait to see what happens with the BME planes. I did find a thread about that Bipe. Maudib (rcu member) spoke with the guy from BME. He seemed to get a good feeling about the plane.

gotta disagree here...the aeroworks ulty is no different than any other ARF. Just check the glue joints and covering like you would any other ARF.
I have the AW 27% Ulty and it's awesome....great 3D and IMAC...in fact I've been flying it almost exclusively this summer. it's a great size....big enough to fly well, small enough to be easy to transport.
I put a DA50 in mine and it's awesome....hovers right at 1/2 throttle with nice pull-out at full. You won't be disappointed with it if you power it right and keep it light.

I agree, AW arfs are POS. My Katana flys great, but after lots of modifications and completely having to resand and recover. The price is just too high for their Ultimate. If it was like $349, thats more realistic for what the plane is, not the six hundred and something they want for it.
