First off, welcome to the forum. But you are in the airplane section of the forum. Post this in the car/buggy forum and you will have more luck getting answers.

Good luck to you in your RC endeavors.

Thread moved from "The Clubhouse" to "RC Car General Discussions".

Reasons: Better suited to get answers in RC Car forums.

Front bumper looks like a HPI Trophy Truggy.

It says Hot Bodies right on the battery/Rx box cover, that's the manufacturer. I forget the name of that particular vehicle (LSP10 maybe?) but it's currently being put out as the HPI Bullet series.

Hot bodies lightning GT10
http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...article_id=794 review on this site of it

and yes the HPI nitro bullet is a re-release of it so if you need parts download the manual from HPI's site for the Bullet ST, and look up the part numbers.

thanks guys for all ur help with my questions found both the review of the lightning and the parts list for the HPI nitro bullet they are both a great help.

Ordered some parts from ebay to replace receiver with a 2.4ghz system to match my controller i use on my electric rc car so hopefully wont need second controller along with a replacement battery box as one of wires was frayed on it then i can check out the servo's in case they need replacing.

Noticed my chassis only has 2 shocks to front and rear instead of the 4 front and rear set up on the HPI site so will prob look at replacing them with new ones as springs look a bit worn and slightly twisted on a couple of them.

Motor(G3.0 ENGINE SLIDE CARB W/PULL START) and other bits will be next after that then last body once i know everything works right, any advice on motor would be greatly appreciated as this will be my first nitro car ive had and wondering weather to maybe look at a slightly smaller size engine instead of one on HPI site for this model and if so would what would you recommend going for ie displacement size ?

engine specs from HPI site:-

Glow Plug: R5 (use HPI #1504)
Displacement: 3.01cc
Bore: 16.8mm
Stroke: 13.6mm
Maximum Horse Power: 2.2PS(2.17hp)/ 31,000 RPM
Maximum RPM: 32,000rpm Head Gasket: x3 0.2mm
Carburetor: F2 Composite 6.5mm

thanks very much for all your help so far
