Has any body built this model? I have the kit for one and three NIB OS 46 FX's, just wonder what the pit falls are. Also where on earth does the C of G go, no mention of it on the drawings or instructions. Beautiful kit though!

cant
I remember having read an RC magazine article on it
I believe it was RCME but i'm not sure and i don't have
references number/year/month ready, will try to find it back
in the archives at our clubhouse where we have different RC subscriptions running
What i'm sure off is that the plane crashed during first testflight and was damaged in the magazine test
cause: wrong CG ...yes !!
it was repaired and the CG moved, problem solved
so be carefull

Hi!
I have not flown this particular 3 engined airplane though I have seen it. But having flown many two engined airplanes both scale and sport aircraft I can only advise you to not use as big engines as your OS.46 in it!
The reason for this is weight and flying characteristics!
I assume that everyone interessted in ww2 airplanes want to have then fly as slow and scale like as possible.....right!?
The only way to do this is build light and not put in too large engines!
As this airplane is only 220-240 cm in span it only requires .25-.32 engines .
These are much lighter than a .40-.46 engine and does require a much smaller fueltank, engine mount and firewall structure.
One of the best .28engines
on the market just now are MVVS with its new standard carb and of course the OS .32 .
So don't put in too large engines it will disapoint you
Regards!
