Lama V4 vs CX2
I wasreading that the CX2 was suppose to be better then the Lama V4 , but my question is You can get a lama v4 with turbo up grade, 900mah extra battery, 6sets of extra blades plus extra landing gear. All this extra comes to be about 3 dollars more then the 189.00 for the CX2. Does the CX2 fly better and hover better then the Lama V4 to off set the cost. The Turbo up grade gives 3cm longer shaft w/metal hub, metal swatch plate, metal grip set, and metal center holder. All this is suppose to greatly improve speed and control of the Lama will it then put it on par or even better then the CX2. Thanks

RE: Lama V4 vs CX2
they fly the same when they're stock, the major difference is that the cx2 uses a 2.4ghz radio which means there is no chance of a frequency conflict and no interference. other than that there is very little difference.

Druss do you get alot of interference normally. I will be flying it in my house with no other helicopters around. They give a choice of 2 frequencies 35 and 72 is one better then the other.

RE: Lama V4 vs CX2
Bulldogger, in my experience I would say the higher the frequency the less chance for interference....
Thus the 2.4 Ghz TX for the CX2 ..
I've been chatting with the lama guys in other forums and read everything I can find and so far I haven't heard one complaint about interference.
So take it however you want it man but I can't see the sense in paying 189.00 for the same thing you can get for 100.
bearcat out!

I'd personally go for the lama, i have one and see very little advantage for more than double the price. Make sure it's the 72mhz which is approved for use in North America. the 35mhz band is used in other parts of the world like Europe.

10-4 Thanks alot Druss and BearCat, didn't know about the frequency. Lama V4 on it's way I guess. I used to fly a Hirbo shuttle ZX nitro with enya .32. Hopefully this won't bring back to many painful nightmares
