Yes, you can.

Horizon recommends a 3S 2100mAh pack, or another 3S pack of similar capacity (1800-2200mAh.)

if you do use a lipoin the f-27b make sure to change the jumper to let the esc know its a 3 cell lipo.
Read the manual on how to do it. All you have to do is remove the jumper.
Heres a pic of the board and the arrow points to jumper 3.

The 3 cell lipo in the Stryker will give you excellent performance. At our local flying field, everyone flying strykers now flies lipos. The 2100 11.1 lipo is perfect, plus it will work great when you go to brushless Watch your cg, and have fun!

Happy Flyin',
Al

Hmm, that's a different issue. It might work, but unless you're willing to try it, or we find someone who has, there's no way to know for sure. All we can go by is the specs from Horizon, and they only mention the stock pack with the original F27 IIRC.

No, if you have the first issuse of the f27 strykers, you cant. If you have a B stryker, then you can have some fun.

I have the B Stryker, and LiPos are shipping as I type this. I'm just a bit concerned about the ESCs Lipo compatibility, i.e. the LVC limit. Is this also adjusted to fit a 3s LiPo when I change the J3 jumper?

Joffen- If you have the B and you move the jumpers to the correct position for a lipo, then the esc will cut off at the right time. If you use the lipo and do not change the jumpers for lipo use, then you will drain the lipo to low and it will no longer be of any use.
The only issue I ever had with using lipo's in my stock B version was the motor's would give out after a while, maybe 60-70 flights.
Make sure also to use the smaller prop that came in your box when using a lipo. It will help to keep the amps down and will increase the rpm's.

If you look in the manual it will show you where to place the jumpers, and if you don't have one, I posted it above.
