Hi
Use a paintstripper that is suitable for fibreglass - not all paintstrippers are safe to use on fibreglass ! A marine/boat shop should have.

You can strip the old paint with an Xacto knife, see:

Evan do that, this way, Scrapping is P47 with the knife, but you will need to sand after the old paint is removed!
