Guys,

I'm looking at getting the Edge V2 from WH and can't decide which engine. Do any of you guys have experience with both and can comment on the pros and cons. Please, no brand flaming, just honest fair opinons between the two engines. Thanks.

Both good, I have the DL it's more powerful, my friend has the 3M it's smoother, you can't go wrong with either.

How much more powerful is the DL vs. the 3MM? Is it like 100 rpm's with same prop? Will the 3MM pull straight verticle from prop hanging? Thanks.

I own a 3mm but have not flown it yet .... too much white stuff out there and more comes every 3 days or so. Overall the engine looks very good and appears to be good quality. Mine is mounted in a scale Zero and I chose the 3mm because of its mounting method and carb location. Perfect for short, round cowls. Time will tell how it works out.

Talk to Tom at WH he will give you the strqaight scoop. I have the WH Sukhoi, it's the same size as my Yak with the DL, the DL is unlimited vertical in it.

I would get the 3mm - Edge combo... Saves money.

I have a couple of dl's, they are strong... I would not mind getting a 3mm one day.
