2 speed tranny gears
If i want to get both the red gears, the longer gears, do i need to change the spur gears? They have diffenent amount of of teeth but since they are different sized, will they still fit? Just wondering. If not, can someone point me in the right direction.
Also, anyone use the stock low gear and the red high gear? Seems like a good way to get lowend and top end unless the difference is too much between the two. I'm going to start with both the red ones but may mess around a bit if people have had success with different combos.

ok you cant get good low end by lower tooth counts on the spurs and good top end with red pinions because they are more teeth, you choose a balance between acceleration and top speed, you cant have both, but if you have a very powerful engine, you kinda can, get the 39t spur, 43t spur, and the red pinions

Yeah, i think i'm going to try out the red pinnion gears and see what happens. I was going to buy them yesterday but the local shop was out. I hate waiting on shipping and like supporting local. Hopefully they work out well.
