Yes, I have two of them. First is the XTM X-Factor. You can still get the XTM X-Factor 2. It is somewhat tricky to get parts for, but Hobby People has them and are the main distributor for them. Second, is the Kyosho Mad Force series. Great trucks, but they have been discontinued for a while and parts can be tricky to get.

I like both trucks a lot. I wouldn't trade either for anything. Neither of mine are stock. They are not quite this cool stock, but have a lot of potential.

X-Factor

Mad Force

I prefer the Mad Force. They have quite a following and are SOOOO much fun to drive. 3-speed transmission! Things will pop wheelies like nobody's business.

Solid axle means just that, the axle is one long and solid piece. Most vehicles have independent suspension, which means they have a-arms, cvd's, etc... A solid axle is like what is on the two trucks pictured above, an LB, Clodbuster, wheely king, basically any crawler. A solid axle is what the axle is on the back of a full scale truck, and independent axle is like what's in the front of a full scale front wheel drive car.

is hobbytron the cheapest place to get the mad force? where can you buy them? how well do they mud and rock crawl? i have had cheap electric walmart cars before and there is no chance of rock crawling and mudding isnt much better out of them.

I use to have a Mad Force before I sold it. It was the best truck ever own! Was unbreakable almost and can take some serious bashing. Did wheelies crazy mad, taken jumps like a real MT and comes back for more. I really regrets selling it now though. It was probably the best nitro solid axle truck ever and actually the best solid axle that can take some serious bashing.

Personally, I would love to see HPI diversify some and add a nitro crawler into their line up of RCs. I would love to see them make the Savage into a nitro crawler variant.

Independant suspension and a nitro powerplant are possibly the worst two designs for crawling.

And what will you say next?
You need a pair of solid axles and a torquey (word?) brushless motor to make a descent crawler??? Awww some people

He is actually right lol... An independent suspension nitro crawler is possibly the worst set up for crawling. Its not practical other than for the novelty of it.

All I know of is the Mad Force/Mad Armor, and the XTM X-factor, like Barber420 said.

Tom.

if AND when the rc crawling world, follow the full size crawling world, the next BIG thing will be ROCK RACING...

and that's where IFS/IRS will shine. and probably nitro too.
