Earlier today I was driving onsnow and when I got stuck I floored it to get out. Will the ice have any effect on the 2 stroke engine?

RE: Baja stuck in snow.
Only thing I ever had happen in snow, was icing around the throttle linkage, and the engine wouldn't idle down enough for the clutch to disengage and the 5B kept on moving.
Now if the engine was hot, and landed in cold icey water, cast aluminum parts could crack. But I don't think snow has the volume/density to absorb heat from the metal fast enough to crack it.

next time i gonna have some clear plastic to act as a window and keep snow from getting on the linkage.

RE: Baja stuck in snow.
He could make a 1/5 scale snow shovel, jack and little pieces of cardboard to REALLY simulate getting stuck lol
ORIGINAL: Nitro Fumes
At least you can walk over to it and pick it up unlike a 1:1 car.

top is awsome! its soo good, that you dont even have to be a gear head to enjoy the show. its the only car show that my wife would watch with me.
sadly, the usa top gear version hasnt lived upto the original. its not bad, but its like comparing a mid-90's mustang to the original mustang. no contest, the original is better.
the last episode where they took trucks to alaska was pretty good tho. gotta love the blurple chevy!

true, the ford did die early do to poor driving skills.
i like that body style dodge, but i didnt think it could make it that far.
the chevy won because it was simple. im fairly certain that a electronic part failed on the dodge. put crap you dont need in truck and its gonna make it less relaible.

I like the older style Dodges but the one in the show was ok, and of course Chevy's are simple, especially older ones like that. Kinda why I dont like em tho, they just seem chintzy and poorly done when you sit in em, been a Ford guy my whole life lol

my dad once had a 84-85-86 dodge ram! LOL, frame off one, body off another running gear from a 3rd!
it has the 2.5 slant 6, which was an awsome little engine. and the tranny had 1st as a granny gear. couldnt go over 4mph! so driving around town you had to start off in 2nd! it was soo much fun to drive. beastly truck. that was one of the best body styles IMO. his had the big ram head hood ornament to! dodge should never have dropped those.

The dodge was mostly killed by rutlege driving like a idiot and driving through water puddles and 40mph. I think it died from more and more water getting in the motor and edventually choking it to death.
