Speed control question and need battery suggestion
First, I have an HPI RS4 Sport electric street car that was working fine a couple nights ago. I put it up and when I came back to it today it would only go in reverse, no matter which way I had the throttle rev switch on the radio. I swapped the leads going from the ESC to the motor and it works normal but has loss of power. Does this sound like a tell tale symptom for a bad ESC and/or motor?
Next [and unrelated] I'm looking to get something rechargeable to go in my nitro cars to power the electronics. Are there battery packs that would fit in the same space that this battery saddle fits into?
Also, if anyone knows where to find a large pack of good cheap rechargeable AA batteries I'm all ears. Might want to get 50 altogether and that would cost a small fortune as far as I know.

RE: Speed control question and need battery suggestion
For your nitro cars, you're going to want to look into a "receiver pack." They come in "hump" and "flat" configurations, so I'm not sure which size sill suit you better.
