RC CAR or Truck on 3S
Anyone run an RC Car or Truck on 3S batteries?
I was looking at something from these guys that maybe I could run with 11.1V 3S 2200mAh LiPo Packs I already have.

People run 2s,3s,4s,5s,6s lipos all the time in car but 2200mah is kinda low and you have to have the right c rating and the link you posted is a nitro car.

i run a rustler VXL on 3s 3000mah 30c lipos. 30c and 3000mah means the lipos can put out 90amps. if your 2200mah lipos were 40c, it would be ok to run them in brushless vehicles.
also, i would think that a on-road car sucks less amps from a lipo than my rustler off-road truck. so you might get away with you lipos on a on-road car.
my lipos i got on ebay and cost $50 shipped for 2! plus a couple of dollars for deans connectors. thats pretty cheap. i get 20 minutes of runtime on each lipo.

RE: RC CAR or Truck on 3S
Sorry, I meant to link to the brushless.
What size would I want for 25C or 20C 2200 3S?
Maybe I'll just need a couple new bats and figure out where I'll use them in planes.
what's the recommended (most reasonable) I can get under $300? RTR?

RE: RC CAR or Truck on 3S
do you want a brushless truck or car?
the traxxas rustler vxl is under $300 new RTR. but, i got mine used for $210 with a bunch of RPM hop ups and spare parts!
there are several on-road brushless cars for $300 RTR.
as for the lipos, the lower the MAH rating, the higher the C rating you need to use them in brushless land vehicles.
