anybody know who I can buy insurance from? ROAR's membership is 30 bucks, does that include insurance?
Currently ROAR membership does include a "form" of insurance, but as in most insurance policies, there are limitations and restrictions. In other words, I believe ROAR insurance is limited to ROAR sanctioned events (and not run-of-the-mill bashing and practicing), but you will have to read their policies (which are online at http://www.roarracing.com ). Around here some of the tracks require ROAR membership just to practice. Some also require track membership and impose track practice/race fees.
