Chassis is stronger than the 2.5.

I have the 3.3 and the only thing I break are engine mounts (from landing on the lid after 6 foot jumps) and hinge pins (from smaking bricks at full speed).

At the shop we have had no problems with the 3.3 being too weak, just the normal "I hit a curb at 45 MPH" type damages.

So far the truck seems very solid to us. No one piece is constantly broken, and no one is breaking anything not-crash-related.

The T-maxx is great in all, I own one. But there are ALOT of weak spots on it. The Revo is just a newer "better built" truck that in most cases has the advantage on a T-maxx.

i love my tmaxx. i have the 2.5 but with the 3.3 and for the chassis. i had the stock 2.5 and everytime i would land hard off a jump it would shred my spur gear due to the chassis flex, i now purchased the 3.3 4mm thick chassis and it WAY stronger no more ripping up spur gears for me. my only complaint is that the 3.3 wont hold a tune and stalls sometimes. i really dont think its the operator cause ive tried EVERYTHING!
