New ECO 8 Mega Phoenix 45 & JR XP 783
Can anyone suggest a starting set up for this radio / Motor / Esc?
I have a new ECO 8 with a Mega 22/20/3 and a Castle Creation Phoenix 45 ESC. Radio is a JR XP-783, gyro is a Futaba GY 401. I currently plan to start out with the mechanical mixer, however I understand that I can send the radio to Horizon Hobby to get the CCPM activated.
As far as upgrades, I currently have the auto rotation gear and the tail boom servo mount only. Pinion gear is 15T for starters based on a no load rpm/volt of 1850 and my desire to stay at 8 cells for now.
