I haev a chance to buy a brand spankin new OPS .15 for my t-maxx. Does anyone have any experience with these engines? How do you think the T-Maxx would handle it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

unless u have the older tmaxx, the only engine worth the upgrade is the sirio .18, all others fall short of the traxxas 2.5

I have the older Maxx, it came with a Hot Bodies .18 which was impossible to tune and promptly blew. I wish I could afford a 2.5 with the conversion. I think if I were to get that I would at least be spending 140. The appealing thing is being able to get what looks to be a worthy engine for 60 bucks to keep me goin for a while.

WEWT!!!

Well at least I dont have to worry about having a crappy .15 now.

My buddy that owns one of the hobby shops here gave me a Sirio .18 for some trade and I get to make payments on it./ I got the conversion, Engine, and pipe for 200 bucks!

Needless to say I am stoked.
