will somebody tell me about a glow plug and a glow starter?? do you keep the glow plug in for the whole run, or just when starting? what does a glow starter/charger do?

the glow starter only heats up the plug during initial starting.

after that the special metal that the glow plug element is made of and the air/fuel mixture combine to keep it glowing.

to make it simple yes. once the car has started you take the igniter off and go play. without the glow plug the engine wouldnt keep running because there would be nothing to ignite the mixture plus you wouldnt have any compression either. but anywayas ya
