Default 1/6 H-2 clod crawler

here are a couple pix of my current project. so far i have some 15t's and a 2:1 reduction kit. It also has a true to scale 350 inder the hood and the lights are ran off a 9v system with a switch mounted to the dash. If anyione else has projects like this id really like to see some pictures.

that's uber cool! it makes me want to start a project like that. The scale motor under the hood was a nice thing to add, where did you get that?

I'd lower the body just a tad though, for an even more scale rock crawler look, but that truck rocks...(no pun intended). how well does it drive with the 15t motors?

I found the scale motor at harbor freight, they had a stock looking ford big block , a stock small block chevy , the hot rod chevy small block (the one i have) and at a truck stop in joplin Mo i saw a blown hemi made by the same company. they are around $20. As for the height i lowered it quite a bit switching from the savage shocks to maxx shocks. I should be able to do a maden test run this weekend and see how it all works out. ill post some more pix then. Also thanks for the input on everything so far.

You can also take the motor out of a model and try to mount in there tight,

For some scale trick check out the tut section of [link]http://www.scale-wiki.com[/link]

i already had a motor in the truck befor i posted.lol some of you guys must have missed that. also i plan on running the imex swap dawg tires on it. they are still on a 2.8 clod rim wich is pretty close to being a true to scale 16.5 rim. the tires are 7 inches tall making them 42 inch tall super swampers. i know the entire truck isnt exactly to scale but it was just a project i am working on for fun. Also for the days i really want to run anything over i have a set of 10 inch tall numatic tires i got from harbor freight. would those be big enuff.lol
