Default Exhaust Pipe?

Can someone explain the difference between 2" band and 0 band pipes. Is one more torque and the other more rpm? In what situation would you use each pipe for? Thanks, Scott

Default RE: Exhaust Pipe?

Most poeple run 2" bands cause they are easier to find the sweet spot on....there really isn't much difference when talking about pipes that are "wet pipes". When you go to a "hot pipe" set up (which are mainly for high performance) they are generally a 0" band......it's really all about what you like, and your tuning abilities. I have an aluminum 2" wet set up on my AMSprint Cat and have ran 64.6@18400 rpm's.......
