I recently buried my 300XS and am looking at a few possible replacements, wondering about some suggestions. Looking at the 300XS again, or the DP 540 ARC version, or the Lanier 540 ARF. Just wondering what areas I might watch for with these planes such as weak spots in building, personal suggestions on setup, quality opinions and the like. I'm running a 9C with Futaba's low end Hi-tork 3010's, this was my first large plane so I was starting "light", and I have a Moki 1.8 to run in it. Looking at the DP 540 I wasn't sure if the Moki would me be enuf power for learning more 3D manuvers.
