Default Control Throws on H9 Sukhoi

Hello Chip.
First let me say thanks for taking the time to answer all of these questions these folks have. I have one on my Hanger 9 Sukhoi. I have been flying this plane for one year and have been learning 3d very slowly. I have no help, I am My help. Any way, I am having trouble with hariers. I can get it into the attitude but it is either in a slow decent, or with just one more click of power it is pitching for a torque roll. I have about 46 Degrees of throw and the cg is set pretty close(I think). Its hands off at 1/2 throttle inverted. Any Suggestions?
Thanks
Tony B

Tony,
There is 2 ways to try to solve this problem that I know of. The first, is to reduce your elev travel so that when you add the click of power that it needs it doesn't try to stand up on its tail. Try doing this by just releasing a little back pressure when you add the throttle. I am always ever so slightly adjusting the elev when doing a non descending harrier in order to keep it at just the right angle.

The second is to move the C.G. forward an 1/8 to 1/4 inch or so. It sounds to me like you might be just a little tail heavy if 1 click is enough to stand it all the way up. I also try to set my planes up so it needs just a touch of down when flying level inverted, and none to maintain an inverted 45 degree upline. This type of trimming needs to be done on a calm day only, as any wind will have an effect on the 45 degree upline part.

Let me know what you find out.

Chip
